  • Dulce Lopes gets the children warmed up with some singing and music in Alola's small premisses in a Dili suburb. The Alola Foundation provide pre-school play and learn sessions. Education in Timor-Lest is very basic with classes up to 80 children and teachers trained under an old fashioned system with very little inter-action between teacher and pupils..Fundasaun Alola is a not for profit non government organization operating in Timor Leste to improve the lives of women and children. Founded in 2001 by the then First Lady, Ms Kirsty Sword Gusmao, the organization seeks to nurture women leaders and advocate for the rights of women.

The London Stock Exchange was attempted occypied in solidarity with Occupy Wall in Street in New York and in protest againts the economic climate, blamed by many on the banks. Police managed to keep people away fro the Patornoster Sqaure and the Stcok Exchange and thousands of protestors stayid in St. Paul's Square, outside St Paul's Cathedral. Many camped getting ready to spend the night in the square.

The large chorus is anchored by Eclectic Voices. The production is conducted by Scott Stroman and directored by Jean Lacornerie. <br />

Ships horns from an armada of vessels off-shore, seventy five brass players on-shore and the Souter Lighthouse Foghorn  performed a Foghorn Requiem, an ambitious musical performance to mark the disappearance of the sound of the foghorn from the UK's coastal landscape.<br />
Conducted and controlled from a distance, ships at sea sounded their horns to a musical score, that will took into account landscape and the physical distance of sound. The performance took place by Souter Light House by South Shields, UK with 8-10.000 spectators and more than 50 ships off-shore.
