A Coalition Of Palestine And Climate Activists Take Over The Court Yard At The British Museum, Demanding An End To BP Sponsorship
The British Museum shut down while climate and Pro-Palestine activists peacefully protested in the court yard on the 1st of June 2024, London, United Kingdom. While climate activists were laying a mosaic inside the museum Parents 4 Palestine, Energy Embargo for Palestine and BP or not BP were doing drawings, face painting, held up banners and chanted in support of Palestine and calling for calling for an end to the Museum’s relationship with BP. The police briefly showed up but after 2 hours the protest ended and the museum reopened.
