A Just Stop Oil activist deliberately breaks bail on the 17th of July 2023, Central London, United Kingdom. Retired vicar Bill breaks bail conditions of not protesting in the streets of London. The bail conditions have been put in place after earlier arrests for similar offences. Police initially arrested him for not complying with a section 12 issued, asking him to leave the road and he was subsequently also arrested and charged with breaking his bail conditions. Just Stop Oil supporters have been marching every day since the 24th of April, often causing major disruption to commuting Londoners, to highlight the urgent need for climate action by the government. The Just Stop Oil is a coalition of climate activists who wants the UK government to end all new oil and gas explorations.
