Just Stop Oil Activist Arrested For Breaking Bail Conditions After Posting A Letter To Labour MP Emily Thornberry At Her Home.

Police check the identity of Phoebe Plummer after two Just Stop Oil activists delivered a letter to Labour MP Emily Thornberry at her home on the 14th of March 2024, London, United Kingdom. Phoebe Plummer, a Just Stop Oil activist, delivered a letter with fellow activist Rosa Hicks, which included "a request that Thornberry commits to leaving the Labour Party if, within six months after forming a government, Labour fails to revoke all Tory oil licenses granted since 2022". Phoebe Plummer was subsequently arrested for breaching bail conditions preventing her from approaching an MP’s residence.
