Just Stop Oil Stage Protest In John Lewis

Just Stop Oil activists stage a peaceful protest in the department store John Lewis on the 14th of July 2023, Central London, United Kingdom. The groups hung banners and spoke out against the UK government’s climate policies, demanding that the UK government stop all new licenses for oil and gas. The store let the protesters do their protest and in spite of the police were called the protest was allowed to finish peacefully and all activists were allowed to leave the store in mutual agreement with store security and management. The protest finished outside the store with no police intervention after the activists briefly continued the protest.
