The re-enactment of Acid Action Painting by Gustav Metzger on the South Bank, October 14, 2006. London. In 1961 Gustav Metzger perfomed his seminal auto-destructive piece Acid Action Painting which was re-enacted 45 years later, again at the South Bank, part of the Southbank show "How to Improve the World". The acid action painting was performed by Brian Hodginson under the instructions of Gustav Metzger himself.
