the Maze Prison, Northern Ireland..01.05.01.photo: Kristian Buus.Deep inside the Maze prison. One of the wings in H-block 6. Block 6 is now decomissioned. Billy Wright was assasined by fellow loyalists in the court yard after returning from the visitors centre. The Maze Prison has been empty since late September 2000 after the Good Friday Peace Agreement meant all prisoners were released. 3 out the 8 H-blocks are still in operative condition, termed 'warm storage.
