The message is a call for action to save the planet from climate change catastrophe. The art work was moved by activists and laid onto a raft on the Thames as the tide was rising. The event marks the launch of XR Writers Rebel’s Paint the Land project, which teams acclaimed writers and artists to create landscape graffitos drawing attention to the climate and ecological emergency. The Speakers at the event included the artist Ackroyd & Harvey, writer Ben Okri, Kelly Hill and Simon Bramwell, co-founder of Extinction Rebellion. The event finished with a song by Damon Albarn and Mirabella Okra and the Capital Choir.
