Kinetika, the Thank You Dance and T100
Kinetika is an arts organisation working with local communities based in Purfleet, specialising in creating large-scale hand-painted silks.
Kinetika is founded by artistic director Ali Pretty in 1997.
For the Platinum Jubilee Pageant Kinetika devised a Thank You Dance involving hundreds of performers with silk flags depicting endangered species and huge scrolls with images of keyworkers who worked throughout the pandemic.
The T100 are annual walks though Thurrock and this year the two events merged at a grand finale in Tilbury Docks.
