Nakba76 March For Palestine
A Jewish man against Gaza gonocide march with hundreds of thousands of Pro-Palestinians, demanding a ceasefire and end to the siege of Gaza on the 76th anniversary of the Palestinian Nakba on the 18th of May 2024, London, United Kingdom. Nakba, also called ‘the catastrophe’, was when Israel was created in 1948 by forcing up to 750.000 Palestinian to flee to neighbouring countries. The march went peacefully and ended in a large rally in Whitehall. Along the route was a small group of pro-Israeli counter protesters which was largely ignored by the pro-Palestinians demonstrators apart from a few shouting ‘shame on you’. A large police presence and stewards from the main demonstration kept order.
