30 imagesThe re-enactment of Acid Action Painting by Gustav Metzger on the South Bank, October 14, 2006. London. In 1961 Gustav Metzger perfomed his seminal auto-destructive piece Acid Action Painting which was re-enacted 45 years later, again at the South Bank, part of the Southbank show "How to Improve the World". The acid action painting was performed by Brian Hodginson under the instructions of Gustav Metzger himself.

20 imagesThe Great Glen Artist Airshow, an art event running over 2 days in the Highlands near Inverness organised by Arts Catalyst in collaboration with HICA. The show involved the artists: Adam Dant,Gair Dunlop,London Fieldworks,Alec Finlay,Susanna Norregaard Nielsen, Esther Polak & Ivar van Bekkum,Camila Sposati,Louise K Wilson and Claudia Zeiske. The weekend was wetter than most even for Highland standards but the art went on across the lochs, heather and in the woods.

30 imagesA REQUIEM FOR THE FOGHORN, PERFORMED BY SEVENTY FIVE BRASS PLAYERS, A FOGHORN AND AN ARMADA OF SHIPS PLAYING THEIR CUSTOMISED AND REMOTE CONTROLLED FOG HORNS. A project by Danish artist, Lise Autogena, in collaboration with Joshua Portway and composer Orlando Gough. The performance took place by Souter Light House by South Shields, UK with thousands of spectators and more than 50 ships off-shore.
