Omarska was a coal processing factory in Western Bosnia. It was also a location where Bosnian Serbs incarcerated thousands of Muslims and tortured raped and killed most of them. A KZ in modern times. There were no obvious sign of the grusome past, only a sence of denial from the locals in the surrounding towns. Only Serbs live around here now, with some villages razed to the ground and election posters advertising local politician "Arkan", leader of the Tigers, a Serb sponsored militia responsibel for killings all over Bosnia.
